With Hamlet opening this week we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to keep our Galleries open that bit later. Pop down after work untill 7.30pm to see Invitation to the Ballet – a landmark exhibition drawn almost exclusively from the Collections of the Royal Opera House. You could also spend your time exploring Britains’s favourite artist in Lowry Favourites and roll back the years in The Birth of British Rock: Photographs by Harry Hammond.
And for those of you who want to stay late into the night and venture deep into the secret warrens beneath The Lowry, there’s Belt Up Theatre’s Quasimodo starting dead on 9.15pm.
Quasimodo was Time Out London’s Critics choice: ‘A clever, claustrophobic hour of psychological horror.’ **** Time Out London
‘It’s not hard to see why Belt Up Theatre’s Quasimodo was a sell-out success at the Edinburgh Fringe.‘ **** City Life.
If you do pay us a late visit this week then make sure you print out this blog post to receive 10% discount in The Lowry Shop.
