The final of this seasons ‘In Development with The Lowry’ projects see’s us team up with Green Eyed Zero. This two handed company promise something a little bit different and with tickets starting a just a fiver Folie à Deux is surely worth a look over the bank holiday weekend.

From the design and creation of the multi-touch screen technology, to the construction of the set (including a whole steel structure enabling them to make full use of their circus and physical theatre skills), to writing the story and finally performing in the show – its tall order but this gifted duo certainly pull it off.

A bit more about the multi-touch screen technology

Tied in with the circus and physical theatre, this digital media provides an imaginative and visual spectacle that really does give more depth to the story. It has been developed by the company specifically for this performance to allow performer and set to become intrinsically one. Just by touching it, you can directly interact with it; manipulating images, videos or virtual objects to create a unique and beautiful digital landscape. Watch the video to see it in action.

If you like what you’ve seen and read so far make sure you don’t miss Folie à Deux, Thu 28 – Sat 30 April in The Studio.

And as a special treat we’ve increased the allocation of £5 tickets across all three performances.
