So Halloween is on a school night this year: no parties, no trick-or-treating, no costumes, no fun…
Following a smash-hit run at Edinburgh Festival this year, Casual Violence present a gloom-trodden tale of terror, tyranny and taxidermy; a nightmare blend of sketch comedy, live music and pure evil charting the rise and fall and fall and fall and fall and fall and rise and fall of the most villainous bloodline in human history.
The House of Nostril tells the story of ancient maniac Roger Nostril, who returns home from a twenty year war with Amnesty International to find himself caught in a fresh battle for dominance with his wayward son Charlie. Expect a Halloween feast of voodoo dolls, chimney sweeps, dyslexia goblins and a terrible parent, and your expectations will probably be met.
Want to go?
You can win 2 tickets to The House of Nostril on Halloween (that’s the 31st October, in case it’s been a long time since your trick-or-treating days) by sending us a photo of yourself in Halloween costume (from any year) to our twitter account @The_Lowry using the hashtag #nostrilhalloween.
We will pick the best/sillest/scariest photo and the lucky (foolhardy) winner will be in for a horrible time with these people:
The competition closes at midnight on Tuesday 22 October. Judges decision is final.
