COMPETITION: What does HOME mean to you?

We are very excited to be hosting the only UK performances this year of celebrated choreographer and performer Akram Khan’s Olivier award-winning performance DESH.

DESH  – meaning ‘homeland’ in Bengali is Khan’s most personal work to date, the show moves between Britain and Bangladesh, weaving  threads of memory, experience and myth into a surreal world of surprising connection.

In the run up to the show coming to The Lowry we want to see what home means to you…

Whether it’s a cup of tea, a beloved pet or the house you grew up in tweet us pictures that sums up home to you using the #DESHcomp for a chance to win!

The prize: Our favourite entry will win 2 tickets to see the performance of DESH on Fri 14 November and a chance to see Akram Khan’s landmark exhibition, One Side to the Other before it opens to the public.

Closing date: Get your home inspired pics to us by Tue 11 November 12 noon and we’ll announce the winner the day after.
