Quays Culture are seeking local people to dance with Boy Blue Entertainment under 10 storey high illuminated sculpture

Quays Culture are looking for hundreds of local people to be part of an exciting new dance commission from the award-winning hip-hop dance company Boy Blue Entertainment. The performance will take centre stage underneath the glow of Mini Burble, a 10 storey high sculpture made of illuminated balloons. Find out how you can be a part of it!

Working with the company behind the 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony to create a brand new movement and music commission, Quays Culture need you to bring the performance to life on Sat 18 July, right on the doorstep of BBC North at MediaCityUK. This mass movement piece will be presented alongside the UK premiere of the artwork, Mini-Burble

Mini Burble will be shown on the MediaCityUK Piazza from Tue 14 – Sat 18 July. On the final evening, Boy Blue will create a celebration of movement and music around the sculpture, taking inspiration from the artwork to create a mass movement piece involving hundreds of local people. Experts in their field, Boy Blue will bring their inspirational and energetic flavour to The Quays to create a truly unique piece.
