A Streetcar Named Desire has become the theme of a number of ballets. In 2012 Scottish Ballet created a new version, choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa. In this video from the 2015 revival, witness a rare fly-on-the-wall glimpse into the rehearsal process and how to turn one of theatre’s great classic texts into a moving ballet.

It was nominated for an Oliver Award for Best New Dance Production in 2013 and was awarded a Critics’ Circle National Dance Award (Best Classical Choreography) and a South Bank Award for Dance in 2013.
